Minimal data, used only to link players

Match Score Tracker is a football match-tracking app for Apple Watch with an iPhone companion app. You can track matches without an account, and your match data stays on your own devices. The only data collected is your name and phone number, and only if you sign in to link matches with other players.

What data the app handles

The app stores team names, player names, goals, assists, and match results — all entered by you, all stored locally on your iPhone and Apple Watch only. This match data is not uploaded to the developer.

Sign in and linking players

Sign-in is optional and only needed if you want to link a match with another player. You sign in with your Apple ID using Sign in with Apple.

When you sign in, the app collects only your name and phone number. This data is used only to link players with each other. It is not used for any other purpose. It is never sold, never used for advertising or tracking, and never shared with third parties for their own use.

What the app does not do

No sign-in required, unless you want to link matches with other players
No analytics or usage tracking
No advertising and no ad identifiers
No third-party SDKs apart from Apple's own services, such as Sign in with Apple
Everything except linking players works fully offline
No access to contacts, location, camera, microphone, photos, or health data
No tracking across apps or websites

Watch ↔ iPhone sync

Match data moves between your paired devices using Apple's WatchConnectivity framework — a direct, encrypted connection. It never passes through any server.

Sharing results

A result image leaves the app only when you tap Share Result, and only to the app you choose in the share sheet.

Data retention and deletion

Swipe to delete any match in the app. Deleting the app removes all match data from your devices. If you signed in to link players, you can ask for your name and phone number to be deleted by emailing baraaharb1996@gmail.com.

Children's privacy

Match Score Tracker does not knowingly collect data from children. Only a name and phone number are collected, and only when someone signs in to link matches with other players.

Changes

If data practices ever change, this policy and the App Store listing will be updated first.
